We make good use of our own hydro-electric power station and a state of the art heat recovery facility. Our top of the line equipment makes our beer mat production climate-neutral. In our energy-saving beer mat production, we use 100 % recycled fibre material exclusively.

Run of the mill coasters consist of 40 % newly harvested wood as the raw material. In contrast, we make the Katz green coaster entirely out of recycled cardboard and paper. This is our active contribution to a sustainable environment.

KATZ Green Coasters can be printed in a 100 % ecological printing procedure. There is no limit to your creativity as a designer.
The dyes we use are based on vegetable oils. Our dyes as our cardboard are biodegradable and free of mineral oil.
