Cardboard – universal, yet specialised

The KATZ Group produces cardboard for the food industry as well as specialty cardboard for industrial applications.

ISEGA certification means that cardboard from The KATZ Group is approved for contact with foodstuffs. It is based on the latest technology and consists almost exclusively of natural components since it is free of mineral oils.
Low weight and a high cardboard volume in a food safe product that is biodegradable makes it an ideal packaging solution for dry foodstuffs such as cakes, cookies and baked goods.

Specialty cardboard also includes sound insulation board – both for the contemporary installation of laminate and parquet flooring and for functional use as room dividers.
But pressure equalisation board – which is successfully used to protect surfaces during pressing – as well as protective board (e.g. on conveyors) for sensitive surfaces is also increasingly in demand.
