We produce all of our special board ourselves at our production site. The basic raw material is exclusively wood obtained from the maintenance of local woods and trees that are felled as part of an ecological forestry program. The Used spruce wood originates exclusively from a "sustained forestry program".

We produce board for many uses outside of coasters. The ISEGA accreditation means that the Katz Group board can be used with and for food products. The combination of food contact grade, light weight, high bulk and bio-degradability make it ideal for food packaging solutions. Some of our existing products include Cake Bases, Cheese Bases and Boxes, Pizza Bases.
We have the ability to produce thick board also means that we can produce display board for direct printing or lamination.
