DIN EN ISO 50001: ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The ISO 50001 standard is a global benchmark designed to support organizations in creating a systematic energy management system. As well as energy data management and the implementation of specific technical measures, systematic energy management also includes strategic and organizational management approaches.
KATZ has been certified to DIN EN ISO 50001 in its respective field since 2012.
DIN EN ISO 14001: ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
ISO 14001 primarily focuses on the use of continuous improvement processes to enable companies to meet their goals in regard to environmental performance.
KATZ has been certified to DIN EN ISO 14001 in its respective field since 2013.
DIN EN ISO 9001: QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
EN ISO 9001 defines the minimum criteria for a quality management system (QM system) which an organization must fulfil in order to be able to offer products and services which satisfy customers’ expectations and all relevant statutory requirements.
KATZ has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 in its respective field since 2013.
SEDEX MEMBERS ETHICAL TRADE AUDIT
During several days of auditing in March 2015, KATZ GmbH & Co. KG successfully demonstrated its adherence to work safety, environmental, social and ethical standards and received its SMETA-4-Pillar audit certificate (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) from TÜV Nord.
INNOVATION THROUGH RESEARCH
KATZ was honored with the “Innovativ durch Forschung” award of the Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft.
In Germany there are 3.5 million companies; less than one percent of them are comitted to research – a small but important group. Only those who do research, will discover new things and create innovation and growth. Therefore, the Stiftungsverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft honored companies that show a special commitment to research and development, with the “Innovativ durch Forschung” award. KATZ receive this award in June 2016.
Ü CERTIFICATE
The “Ü” certificate of national technical approval from the German Institute for Civil Engineering (DIBt) gives you the reassurance of knowing that KATZ Sound Reduction Board products, which are based on GREEN LIGNIN technology meet the key requirements of general technical approval for construction products.
GUARANTEED NON-POLLUTING AND EMISSION-FREE
The “A+” certificate from the German Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH in Dresden confirms that KATZ Sound Reduction Board room and impact sound insulation, which are based on GREEN LIGNIN technology, meets the key requirements of the French regulation “Arrete etiquetage”. In terms of formaldehyde emissions, KATZ Sound Reduction Board has been assigned to the top “A+” category.
